Our Safety Philosophy
- We believe that safety is a value that you adopt and act out in everyday life at home, while traveling, and at work.
- We believe that safety is everyone's responsibility.
- We place strong emphasis on prevention and education.
- We express our concern for injured employees through personal action.
Our Prevention Measures
To keep employees and subcontractor's employees safe and healthy, we:
- Establish a safety plan for every job. Hazards are identified and special precautions are given to employees.
- Provide appropriate tools, equipment and materials to the safety requirements for each job.
- Regularly conduct safety and health walk-throughs on all jobs to assess project conditions and take corrective action when required.
- Provide mandatory safety, health awareness and procedure training on all job sites. These weekly “Tool Box” talks cover the full spectrum of safety and health issues.
In addition to what our company can do to help prevent accidents and impaired health, our policy, hiring agreements and subcontracts clearly state our expectation that all employees and subcontractors' employees, both in the field and office, must take responsibility for their own safety and health no matter where they are or what they are doing in their everyday lives.
